Pisith’s Dream
Pisith is a young boy living in Lamphat Village. Like many children in his community, he dreamed of going to school and building a better future.
Before there was a school in the village, Pisith studied at a Community Learning Camp that was initiated by the community together with REEC. REEC supported the learning program by providing educational resources, while the local government contributed by supporting the teacher’s salary. This strong partnership helped ensure that children like Pisith could continue learning close to home.
As the learning program grew, REEC worked with the community to build a new school. The new school has created a better learning environment where Pisith and his friends can study comfortably and safely.
Today, Pisith and his classmates enjoy learning through fun and interactive activities. Their classrooms are filled with joy, curiosity, and hope. Every day, they gain new knowledge and skills that help them prepare for the future.
Pisith is very grateful to REEC for supporting his community and helping make education possible for children in Lamphat Village. He believes that education can change lives and create new opportunities.
Pisith’s dream is to become a agriculture expert one day. He wants to help the people in his village by providing knowledge and expertise and to make sure no one goes hungry in his community. With the support of his family, community, REEC, and his teachers, Pisith is working hard to achieve his dream and make a positive difference in his community.
For Pisith, the new school is more than just a building — it is a place of hope, learning, and opportunity for a brighter future.
