Every child deserves the opportunity to learn — and there is a place for you in REEC’s mission, wherever you are in the world.
Every contribution — large or small — helps create opportunities that can change a child’s life. Here is how you can help.

Volunteer
We welcome volunteers who are passionate about education and community development. Whether you can contribute your skills, knowledge, time, or experience, your support helps strengthen our programs and create meaningful learning opportunities for children.
Visit our schools and communities
One of the most meaningful ways to support REEC is to visit the communities where we work. Join a guided school and community visit to meet students and teachers and see community-led development first-hand. Many visitors stay at Phum Khmer Resort and spend part of their journey learning about rural education — for many, it becomes one of the most memorable experiences of their visit to Cambodia.
Fundraise for REEC
Organise a fundraising activity within your school, workplace, university, community group, or network — from charity events and sponsored activities to awareness campaigns and online fundraising. Your efforts help support children who might otherwise have limited access to education.
Share our story
Help raise awareness by sharing our stories, following our activities, and introducing others to our work. By amplifying the voices of rural communities, you connect more people to the mission of ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn.
Our partners
We believe that meaningful, sustainable change is achieved through strong partnerships with communities, schools, local authorities, donors, volunteers, and organizations that share our commitment.
EastAid (Switzerland)
Since 2007, REEC’s founder Mr. Sytha Nan has worked closely with the EastAid Foundation of Switzerland to improve educational opportunities for children in remote communities in Ratanakiri Province. Over nearly two decades, this partnership has supported the construction and development of educational facilities — and it continues today through REEC.
Through this partnership, the following have been established and improved in Ratanakiri Province:
- 5 primary schools
- 1 secondary school
- 2 student dormitories
- 6 school libraries

United World College Li Po Chun (UWCLPC), Hong Kong
REEC partners with UWCLPC in Hong Kong through an annual educational and cultural exchange. Each year, groups of students visit Cambodia to live in village communities and work alongside teachers and students in remote partner schools, delivering interactive activities in art, music, sport, and critical thinking. Through this “students helping students” approach, young people return home as ambassadors for rural education.

Community partners
The success of our work depends on parents, teachers, school committees, village leaders, local authorities, and community members, whose time, knowledge, and labour make educational projects sustainable.
Become a partner
We welcome partnerships with schools, universities, businesses, foundations, community groups, and individuals who share our vision. If your organisation is interested in a service-learning, cultural exchange, or educational partnership, we would love to hear from you — please get in touch.
